Our ranking software generates the Budget Life Top 15 every time rates change. We use the COMPULIFE® database of top companies, which you can also see at Term4Sale.com. It is the most unbiased and comprehensive insurance site: they don't sell insurance; they have no incentive to withold information.

The COMPULIFE® database has companies of all different ratings for financial strength. For our survey, we only use companies rated A- or better by A.M. Best.

Our Life Insurance Ranking system then extracts from the database the lowest rates for $500,000 face amount in each of these categories: 1) "Preferred Plus" and "Standard" health; 2) male and female; 3) non-smoker; 4) ages 25, 35, 45, 55; 5)10 and 20 year duration. It assigns scores to the lowest fifteen rates in each category and then adds them up.

Our Top 15 Term Life Insurance Companies covers 80% of our visitors' demographics, and it provides the competitive information necessary to begin an informed life insurance shopping campaign.
